JAYSON WILLIAMS BACK ON TRIAL

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Past and present staffers at New Jersey's Hunterdon County Prosecutor's Office are taking the witness stand as part of an investigation into whether the case against former NBA star Jayson Williams, who is black, has been racially biased.      

Hunterdon County Prosecutor J. Patrick Barnes, who is white, was the first witness Tuesday, according to the Associated Press. Former assistant prosecutor Steven Lember, who tried Williams in 2004, was also expected to testify at press time.

After reading the news articles there are a great deal of conflicting accounts. When the prosecutors have conflicting stories in a major case like this, I wonder what really went happened.
